# Filter bills and transactions by open asks

October 22, 2026

### See what is still waiting on someone

Bills and Transactions have a new open asks filter. Use it to see every item with an ask nobody has finished yet, or only the ones waiting on you, so nothing sits unanswered in a comment thread.

## New

- Download a print-ready PDF for Direct Checks from the payment panel, with the MICR line at the right size.
- Pay only the chosen lines of a work order's bill, so card purchases and internal labor are not sent to the vendor.

## Improved

- ACH payments carry a readable description for the payee: OWNER PAY, BILL PAY, REIMBURSE or PAYMENT.
- Archived rows fade and show an Archived badge under their status.
- Vendor remittances and the Bills CSV export include the check number.
- Bill uploads that need converting, such as Word, Excel or phone photos, no longer hold up other pages while they process.
- Gmail settings pages no longer wait on Google while they load the user list.
- AI-suggested GL accounts respect the bill-to category and also appear on pending card charges.

## Fixed

- Fixed pages hanging on slow bank and payment providers; they now show a retry message.
- Fixed the Company Spend Breakdown on the dashboard timing out.
- Fixed command palette search timing out on large accounts.
- Fixed the Reservations page timing out when loading the Source filter.
- Fixed Select all in pickers assigning every item on the account instead of only the search results.
- Fixed bottom-row checkboxes being covered by the bulk action bar, which blocked deselecting.
- Fixed Guesty expenses being paid to the wrong payee when a vendor was selected.
- Fixed saving tracking categories for accounts with thousands of categories.
- And 8 more fixes.
