# Filter vendors by W-9 and 1099 status

October 23, 2026

### Get ready for 1099 season

Filter your vendors by W-9 status and 1099 status, then export the list. It is now a few clicks to see which vendors still owe you a W-9 before year end, instead of checking them one by one.

## New

- Delete a printed check payment that was issued but needs to be stopped, so it can be cleared from Topkey.

## Improved

- Tables, metrics and filters have a cleaner, more consistent look across the app.
- Change the owner on an owner payment without reclassifying the transaction first.
- The onboarding welcome screen counts unmatched payouts from the last 60 days instead of all time.
- Archived debits are hidden by default on a bank account's statement, with an Archived filter to show them.
- Mailed checks print the invoice numbers they pay in the memo line.
- Bulk Unarchive and Delete moved to the More menu on bills, properties, work orders, transactions and expenses.
- Bulk deletes and bulk archive or unarchive actions are recorded as their own entries in the activity log.

## Fixed

- Fixed the bill date on a paid bill that has not yet synced to accounting, so it can be corrected before it posts.
- Fixed approval steps on a bill rule changing order on their own, with no entry in the Activity tab.
- Fixed the bank account page timing out for accounts with long transaction histories.
- Fixed the inventory receivings page timing out.
- Fixed reconciliation not matching Topkey payments that came back through the bank feed.
- Fixed shipping charges being dropped from some bills created from uploaded spreadsheets.
- Fixed statement, fee and check downloads failing when the payment provider was slow. Slow downloads now prepare in the background.
